Is your NOW simmering, al dente or fully cooked and why?
Simmering. I constantly feel like I put a pot on to simmer, but I have to keep a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't boil over.

What recipes can you give other Creative Moms Taking On The Creative?
For the first couple of years in business, I thought the adage, "Do what you
love" was off point for running a successful business. Now that we're into
year five and there is still more work to be done than time, I really
appreciate the sentiment. I love designing and I love selling. This allows
me to do all the difficult parts of my job (and there are so many!)
because everything ends up contributing to the things that I love.

What motivated you to throw your noodle?
The support of my husband. We do this together, but I feel like his support has enabled me to do the hard things.

What inspires you as a Mom and as a creative person?

Kids and Parents Offices
How do you juggle Mamahood and your NOW?
We have lots of little systems and routines set up that make our lifestyle work. I stay up very late working and the kids play while I sleep later in the morning. We have an office set up with two long desks, so they can work on their creations while I work on mine. We feel the importance of teaching work, so the four members of our family all share in household responsibilities.

What is your ultimate pasta dish?
Nick and I got to live in NYC for three months and one evening we wandered
into Patsy's without ever having heard about it. Oh, the ravioli.
