Michelle Nemiroff is from Northern New Jersey and has been married to her "wonderful, patient and helpful" husband, Brian for eleven years. Michelle and Brian have three beautiful girls and a dog named Eli......after the Yale Eli, where the girls were born. As a family, they love to be outside swimming, walking or biking. Michelle crafts in her home design studio while her girls create right along with her.
"My love for designing has been in my heart since I was a child. I would arrange and rearrange the furniture in my room on a weekly basis! I love to inspire other children and adults to listen to their hearts and believe they can do anything."

My NOW is 2luvbugs.
I love creating with my hands and coming up with new ideas. I get my inspiration from my girls, their friends, my friends and conversations I overhear during carpooling. My newest creative venture is bottle caps. When I started working with bottle caps, I guess you could say that's when my creativity really boiled over!

Is your NOW simmering, al dente or fully cooked and why?
My now is al dente! I cook everyday and I'm always coming up with new recipes. I love to try different combinations of fabrics, materials, bottle caps and jewelry in my creations! For several years, I just sold my products to friends and family. Then one day, I realized this was a bigger pot and I needed to share it with the general public. Once moms and kids started to taste 2luvbugs, they craved more. That is what constantly keeps me moving in the direction of bigger, better and more!
What recipes can you give other Creative Moms Taking On The Creative?
Strive to be successful and empower your kids so they can be confident. For me, that means leading by example and juggling many hats.......work, mom, wife, sister, daughter and friend! It's also very important that I be present for my family and that's why 2luvbugs is a family affair.

My family loves to come with me to shows and be a part of photo sessions promoting my products. This would not be possible without them. My husband also helps when I am under a time commitment. Although he has said he spends more money eating, riding ponies, getting face painting and buying tattoos for my three girls than I make at the shows, he loves coming anyway. It is a fun family afternoon and the customers think it's funny to watch my husband sell the hair pretties!

What motivated you to throw your noodle?
While looking for ways to channel my creativity and keep my “luvbugs” looking fashionable, I started making cute hair accessories for my children. My friends started to take notice and coveted my adorable Bottle Cap Clips and Embroidered Initial Headbands so their daughters could look fabulous too.

I realized I was onto something and launched 2luvbugs in 2007, naming my company after my girls (just 2 at the time). Since then, I have not only expanded my family, but also my product portfolio to include all kinds of bottle cap and embroidered hair accessories such as, Bows, Pony-O’s and Ribbon Clip Essential Hair Pretties. My newest products include themed silver necklaces, beautifully decorated hair barrette holders
and themed key chains that boys like to
display on their backpacks and lunch boxes.

What inspires you as a Mom and as a creative person?
For me, this business is a dream come true. When I am not playing hide and seek, drawing on the driveway, reading, carpooling or making healthy meals for my family, I'm sitting in my home design studio surrounded by fun materials. I personally make 2luvbugs accessories that my girls and their friends wear and I am inspired by their love of my products. It makes me strive to do better every day and to create something more special!

What is your ultimate pasta dish?
I feel like I am almost there... I would like to get my products into more stores throughout the US. I know that once I take the time to market other areas, they will love them. I would also like to take my bottle cap images to the kids. I envision kids in schools drawing and then the schools voting on an image for their mascot or school logo. Then the kids can get backpack keychains and other products that represent not only them as creative young students, but also their school.
