Tell us about your NOW (Noodle On The Wall).

Tinder Designs Boutique is an online shop that offers a few different children's products.  The most popular and my main noodle being, the "shopping cart cover."  With over 100+ Designer fabrics to choose from, you will be sure to find something you will just love!  Most people are becoming aware that the shopping carts they are placing their children in are extremely dirty and may harbor different harmful bacteria and viruses.  Tests have proven that they are as dirty as public restrooms!  So by using a shopping cart cover you are protecting your precious cargo from all those yucky germs!  Not only does Tinder Designs Boutique shopping cart covers create a protective barrier between your child and the cart, but it also gives them a luxurious area to sit and stay content while the parent can easily shop.  One more thing is that the shopping cart cover can double as a resturant style highchair cover too!  So dining out with child just got better!

Is your NOW simmering, al dente or fully cooked and why?

My NOW is simmering...I like it this way.  My goal is to have a business that's nice and steady and not too overwhelming where it becomes stressful!  I want my passion to be simmering not fully cooked!  Im not ready for that yet.  That's what I love about my business.  I have control over when I want to keep it simmering or when I want to turn up the heat and get things boiling.  I feel in control and for me, that's the greatest thing about being a small business owner.

What recipes can you give other Creative Moms Taking On The Creative?

My advice on getting your recipe going is to be creative and be yourself!  Don't copy others and be a unique you.  That's what will get your noticed!  Also, give your idea or business time!  Things don't always happen overnight.  Be flexible and not too hard on yourself.  Your gonna make mistakes and that's ok because that's how we learn.  Just take your time and love what you do!

What motivated you to throw your noodle?

After having my third child in 2005 I found sewing again.  I wanted to make some personal handmade items for my lil' guy.  I took the skills that I learned from my grandmother and a few things from home economics in high school, but also was on a mission to further my sewing skills. It's amazing what you can learn via the internet. The tutorials I found made sewing fun and easy!  I know many people get intimidated by the thought of sewing, please don't!  It's only as hard as you make it. So, after designing and sewing a few shopping cart covers for my son in 2006, I thought I should offer these online.  I made a few and I couldn't believe how quickly they sold.  Then the rest is history.... I have been selling them for 8 years now and have sold thousands worldwide.  It's amazing  what you can do with a little creativity and passion!

What inspires you as a Mom and as a creative person?

I love color!  The brighter the better.  There are so many different fabric designers today and I just love working with the latest fabrics. Mixing and matching and pairing this with that is what keeps it so fun and fresh.  It keeps me creative and inspires me with new, fun ideas.

How do you juggle Mamahood and your NOW?

I'm a Dreamer, Designer, Seamstress, Wife, Mom...thats me!  I have been so blessed to be able to work from home.  I love being the queen of cuddles, the keeper of kisses, and the occasional tickle monster.  So keeping balance between my family and work is crucial.  I live with a planner next to my side!  Stay organzied...your brain will thank you!

What is your ultimate pasta dish?

All my noodles are yummy to me so of course having to say which one is my ulitmate dish is hard.  However, there is one shopping cart cover in particular that has been my top seller for the last 3 years.  So, I'm gonna say it has to be my ulitimate pasta dish!  The "Roco Beat Paisley."  It's fun and just pops with color and flavor!

I am a proud owner of a Tinder Design shopping cart and love the protection it has brought to my boys during our shopping trips. I have owned it for almost 7 years (3 boys later) and it has held up beautifully. Her work is of great quality. Don't let the day go by without buying one of your own. You will be so happy you did!

Welcome to the Noodles On The Wall Blog, a place where I share the trials and tribulations of a creative noodle maker. (That's me!) My life is full of noodles and I've learned it takes a dash of inspiration and a pinch of creativity to throw them up on the wall to see if they stick. Hope you stick around!
