As we throw our noodles on the wall to see if they stick, one of the key aspects of creating that stickiness is having all the right ingredients to make it a success.  One very important ingredient, is your logo.  When tossing those noodles, many make the mistake of not having the right logo for their business.  What may seem like a small aspect of your company, can actually attract the right clients and catapult you to the next level.  After all, having the right logo, or symbol as I like to call it, speaks volumes to your ideal clients.

When a client is first introduced to your company, seeing your symbol can mean a few different things to them.....

• You are a professional.
• You care about your business, therefore, you care about your clients.
• You know what you are doing.
• You and your company can be trusted because you have it together.

Now let's take it a step further.

As a symbol designer, I have found that those companies that stand out the most, are those who have images that represent not just the face of their business but also the soul.  A business is usually inspired by passion.  It becomes your baby.  It is also a part of you.  Essentially, that is why I like to call it a symbol.  The word symbol feels personal, important, connected and emotional.  And when you are running a business that has stemmed from all of that, that is exactly how you should make your ideal clients feel when they see your image.
Your design should not be another pretty accent piece on your website, it is a first impression, it is the introduction of your brand and most importantly, it is what makes you relatable to your ideal client.  It is YOU.

So when you are cooking or stirring that new business or sticky noodle, remember that the right symbol, really does count.

Welcome to the Noodles On The Wall Blog, a place where I share the trials and tribulations of a creative noodle maker. (That's me!) My life is full of noodles and I've learned it takes a dash of inspiration and a pinch of creativity to throw them up on the wall to see if they stick. Hope you stick around!
