I had to bite my tongue as I watched my children take out each and every toy from their bin last week. They had decided to build a race track with each and every toy that they owned. Yes. Every single one. Have I mentioned I'm trying to sell my house? Anyway, even though it was literally giving me stomach pains each time another toy was brought out, I couldn't tell them to stop. What could I do? They were using their imaginations......they were taking action.......and they were being really, really quiet. I was mesmerized at how focused they were and what an amazing team they could be when they wanted the same thing. Nope. I couldn't do a darn thing. All I could do was hope the realtor wouldn't call me that day for a showing.
At first the race track was made up of strictly toys......
When they ran out of toys, they moved on to the crayons
and markers.
and markers.
And when those were used up, they went for the ccasional slipper, boot and bag.....
Nothing was stopping these guys from having the most magnificent race track known to man.
Not even a fruit and yogurt smoothie.
Not even a fruit and yogurt smoothie.
And when it was all done, they raced their cars and made an even bigger mess.
It was all worth it though.........and thank goodness the realtor didn't call:)
