Well, we've finished baking our Hanukah cookies, spun our dreidels, eaten our gelt and lit each candle on the menorah. Sadly, Hanukah is officially over, but holiday celebrating in our house is not even close to being over! That's because we're moving on to Christmas! I love to see my kid's innocent faces as they get ready for Santa's arrival. That's why this year, I'm taking it up a notch and creating a little more magic before the idea of Santa is long gone from their eyes. Here are some fun ways to Take On The Creative and get into the Christmas mood with your kids this season! Santa's almost here!!!
FEED THE REINDEER Make Santa's arrival even more exciting and feed those hungry reindeer! Get some dry oatmeal and red glitter, bag it up and have the kids spread it on your lawn for a yummy reindeer treat. |
SANTA KEEP THEM OUT Using red crepe paper, block your kid's doorway so they literally have to burst through in the morning. It's Santa's way of keeping them from going downstairs! |
LEAVE SANTA'S FOOTPRINTS Using a paper template and some flour, make Santa's footprints and watch your kid's flip over the magic of it all! |
A CHRISTMAS EVE BOX Have a Christmas Eve Box your kids can open filled with reindeer food, pajamas and a book to read before bed! |
