I'm one of those people that believes in accessibility.  If it's out there for the taking, then most kids will experiment with creativity.  So, we have our own little magical corner of crayons, markers, paints and paper ready any time the kids feel the urge to create something new.  Unfortunately, I always struggle to keep it organized and sane without taking the sense of freedom out of it.  I guess you could say I'm always looking for fun ways to keep the art accessible, but also organized for real life living.  Here are some great ways to DIY your own magical corner while keeping it real.

DIY ART ROOM

I LOVE this art room!  The open shelving keeps the supplies organized and yet fully accessible.  My favorite part is the art work hanging from clothespins.

DIY ART TABLE

This is an amazing idea for an art table.  It is actually made from old cupboards.  This table is the perfect height for kids and has storage for coloring.  Very cool.

DIY ART WALL

If you have a wall that needs a little something in your home, why not layer on some chalkboard paint.  Adding a frame around it makes it the perfect space for your kids to display their art.  Keep the chalk close for those inspirational moments.

DIY ART STORAGE

Recycle your old tin cans and store those art supplies!  It looks fun and interesting while giving your kids open access to creativity.

Take On The Creative with your kids and create a magical art corner that keeps it real.

Welcome to the Noodles On The Wall Blog, a place where I share the trials and tribulations of a creative noodle maker. (That's me!) My life is full of noodles and I've learned it takes a dash of inspiration and a pinch of creativity to throw them up on the wall to see if they stick. Hope you stick around!
