This past Sunday, my son asked, "Mama, can we pretend construction today?" To which I replied, "Absolutely!" He could not have asked me on a better day. See, our front steps have been looking pretty shabby and we had no plans on this beautiful Sunday morning. But I decided there would be no pretending. We were going to do construction and we were going to be "Doin' It For Real."
We sanded the steps.
Then we let go of the sander to see how far it would go on its own.
So fun!!!
We did some serious painting.

Then when we decided to take a break from contruction, my son wanted to do real DJing with Daddy.
I'd say he had a full day of "Doin' It For Real!"
