It's amazing what kids will come with when left to their own creativity. When the weather started getting hot, bathing suits began to be the regular attire around these parts. But there was only so much water play we could do to keep us occupied. So my son decided to look in the "supply" closet for a little inspiration. I waited patiently as his little sister eagerly bounced in anticipation for a new activity. "Oh it's going to be good!" He said to us as we heard drawers opening and closing. I have to say, I had no idea what he was up to. Soon, with a great big smile, a bag of colored sand and a tupperware container, he marched himself to the backyard as my daughter and I scurried behind him.
First, he said we needed to make a hole at the bottom of
the tupperware container. So I quickly pierced a home with a knife.

Then he filled it with colored sand and started making art on the patio.
He quickly moved himself over to the driveway because he didn't have enough "art space."
These artists can be so demanding.
