When you're constantly working on your business or noodle, it can be difficult to find innovative ways to bring in business.  But fresh ideas and reinventing your wheel or noodle for that matter, is what will ultimately keep your customers coming back and interested.  That's why brand boredom, although totally normal, can be detrimental to your businesses health.

So how do you stay away from a boredom and keep you motivated and your brand fresh?

Simple.  First, do some jumping jacks, take a day dreaming walk and then look at your brand from a whole new perspective.

• Make a list of your favorite brands that are not in your category.  For example, if you're an interior design company, don't add any of your go to designer inspirations or home decor company's to your list.

• Then write down how these brands would promote your company or bring in new business.  For example, if your a children's clothing company and you love Sweet Tea Leaf Company.
How would they handle your promotions or marketing?

As a company creating organic tea with ingredients they can pronounce, they believe that tea should not only be natural, but also have the capability to bring people together to play and connect.  They also bring a humorous home grown quality by having quirky sayings under their bottle caps from Granny, the original recipe maker.

So how could your company bring a little of this organic, quirky, connection to your brand?  Could it be in your packaging?  Your website?  Your promotional materials?  Your you tube channel?  The possibilities are endless :)

Having continuous innovative and fresh ideas is crucial to creating a strong brand.  So do your research and get inspired!

My life is full of noodles and I've learned it takes a dash of inspiration and a pinch of creativity to throw them up on the wall to see if they stick. Hope you stick around!
