Our Stick Of The Week! is Andreia Oliveira. Andreia is in the NOW as co-owner and designer at 4happychildren, handmade sustainable goodies for happy children. Andreia considers 4happychildren a family project because her four happy children are her and husband, Vitor's inspiration when designing and making products for their business. Andreia Oliveira lives in the beautiful Cascais, near Lisbon (Portugal). She's a wife and mother of two daughters and two boys.
Whether I'm working with numbers or transforming a good raw material into a new object, I always consider myself a creative person. Being a mom has given me the will to make things for my babies and I through motherhood, I came to realize how happy I feel when making tangible goods.

What inspires you as a Mom and as a creative person?
Everything that my eyes find beautiful (mainly the details and the simplest things). Also, being a mom to four amazing children. How could I not be creative? I love to make their clothes, the dolls, their gifts and the pencil cases they carry to school. They inspire me!

How do you juggle Mamahood and your NOW?
With simplicity. I grew up with my mom being a work at home mom and the same happened with my grandma. I think the trick is to get everyone involved.
Sometimes I have stop working and just play with my children. While other times, it's possible to have them playing while I’m working (we share the attic in the house as playing area and the studio). I also at times have to work after they go to bed. Luckily, my husband helps me with everything.
What is your ultimate pasta dish?
Fresh, colorful, good quality, handmade.
