As a teacher and a mom, Taking On The Creative is just a part of every day life for Kathryn Trainor. From (student project here), to exploring the New England area and beyond during those summer months with her two boys, John (5) and Patrick (4), Kathryn is practically swimming in creativity all day long. But creativity is not only limited to Kathryn's daily routine. In fact, Kathryn can be found blogging her evenings away with product reviews, family fun ideas and BBQ over at her blog, Fuggs And Foach.
Fuggs And Foach began when Kathryn was trying to keep herself sane as her husband worked long hours for weeks at a time.
"My sister was always telling me to get out and live a little, go shopping, buy yourself something. Then she suggested a new Coach hand bag. I knew that was not my style and joked that I was more of a Fuggs and Foach kind of girl. Fake Uggs and fake Coach. I'm a thrift store teacher with a relaxing lifestyle."
Now, 9 years later, Kathryn is not only sharing her teacher wisdom and thrifty ideas with Fuggs And Foach readers, but she's also adding her Mommy moments into the mix.

That includes the many adventures she takes with her boys. For Kathryn, being a mom of two busy boys, means Taking On The Creative through real life experiences.
"I believe that's how they become their own little beings. By giving them a chance to dance, make art, conduct a train and even have conversations with people in the community."
But that doesn't always mean these experiences have to cost money. As a teacher, Kathryn is creative by nature, stays on her toes and is always thinking of ways to nurture her children's creativity. That's why when school closes up shop for the summer, Kathryn manages to come up with amazing ways to spend her summer days with her boys. What's even more exciting is that these real life experiences don't break the bank. From camping in the backyard to exploring old country roads on a nature walk, Kathryn has all the creative remedies for summer.
