I'm not sure about you but when school starts, I feel this renewed energy to get things organized and start fresh in my home office. It always feels good to get rid of the clutter, so I can concentrate on what's important. It's also a matter of keeping my sanity and meeting my deadlines. So, I've been thinking about how I would love for my kids to feel that they too have a space where they can be creative, expand their minds and get some school work done without the distraction of clutter. Here are some great ideas I found that are creative, practical and organized.
HANGING SUPPLIES Using a towel rack, hang some buckets found in the craft store and store homework supplies. Perfect for glue sticks, scissors and pencils. Also a great way to create more space on the desk. HOMEWORK BINS Keep your kid's homework organized by having wall bins with their names. Great way for them to keep track of what's due and what still needs to get done. Also perfect for parent paperwork for the teacher. LAZY SUSAN If everyone in the family does their homework at one table, a lazy susan full of school supplies is the perfect solution to keeping everyone happy and organized. |
